• Date: Friday, March 20, 2026 - 5:30-7 pm

    The goal is simple; connect other like-minded people to others & build community connections. Our Crunchy Exchange will be similar to a cookie exchange where everyone brings something to swap with others. In addition our event will host a simple soup supper with lighthors d’oeuvres. 

    A $15 registration fee to hold a spot. Each participant would also commit to a $15/value minimum exchange item/participant. Once registration closes Creative Simplicity will communicate the total number needed. 

    Your participation can be homemade, handmade, home grown or made with love.  Example: If 8 guests sign up, then 8 gifts would be the ask. 

  • What It Looks Like:

    In the scenario mentioned above with 8 guests: 7 gifts would be exchanged with participants. You would not take one of your own home. The extra gift would be donated to Creative Simplicity to be raffled off.

    A compilation basket would be awarded to one lucky winner to "share the love" with. Raffle basket tickets for this drawing will be sold in-shoppe for $5/each until the March event. (Attendees and non-attendees would be encouraged to participate in the drawing, no exclusions, no need to be present to win). The proceeds from the drawing ticket sales will support a charitable cause in our community.  Youth programs will be our focus for March.

  • Creative Simplicity will host the soup supper meal & light hors d’oeuvres for each participant should they choose to join us for a meal. Each participant will receive a $10 gift certificate as a thank you for participating from our boutique. 

    Our goal is to host 3 Crunchy Exchanges in 2026.  March, late summer (TBD), and November (TBD). 

    The goal of handmade, homemade, home grown or made with love will encompass our bakers, gardeners, crafters, small businesses and more! And what a wonderful way to share love with others.  Here at Creative we envision the sourdoughs, honey, garden vegetables, etc. plus the sewn projects, lotions, candles, and more!

    As we kick the new year with new ideas, we really think this will be a fun opportunity & we are excited to share it & see where it goes.
