New Canaan Farms has been delighting tables since 1979 with small-batch jams, jellies, sauces, and salsas made from fresh, natural ingredients. In 2022, the Waters family proudly carried that legacy to Utopia, Texas, where we live, work, and create today.
As sixth-generation Texans with deep roots in the Hill Country, bringing New Canaan Farms to Utopia felt like coming home. Lou applies decades of experience building thriving businesses, and Lou’s wife Gerry ensures our brand story reaches friends near and far. Laurel brings her chef’s creativity from years of training and running her well-known destination restaurant, The Laurel Tree. Together, we’re continuing the tradition of New Canaan Farms with every jar we craft.

Hearty, nutritious and versatile, our chunky salsas and condiments pack a lot of ingredients into every bite. They're great as dips, meal-ingredients short cuts or even as a baked potato topper or meal side.
